Summary
The United States and the international community have spent money, time and many efforts in peacemaking and peacekeeping operations in the Balkans. This was not in vain. We obviously need a climate of stability and cooperation in a region where the future is connected with development.
The two last decades, considerable foreign capital has been invested in the wider Balkans area and, apart from accommodating a solution to the final status of Kosovo, there are no apparent major problems still unsolved.See the full content of this document
