Just about every time a holiday rolls around, Maryland football coach Ralph Friedgen gets emotional. This time, he wished everyone a spiritual Thanksgiving, knowing his team can use any help it can get given the injuries that have besieged the Terrapins this season.

And though Friedgen said his house feels like "King Arthur's Castle" on Thanksgiving, food is the furthest thing from his mind with his Terps (5-6, 2-5 ACC) one win away from bowl eligibility heading into the regular-season finale Saturday at N.C. State.
