SEEN AND HEARD AT NATIONALS PARK
A large group of ex-major leaguers and union officials were on hand before Wednesday night's game as part of an initiative to raise awareness for international baseball competition. Union head Don Fehr, along with executives Bobby Bonilla and Steve Rogers, plus ex- Orioles player B.J. Surhoff, joined officials from the International Baseball Federation who are trying to get the sport back into the Olympics. The 2012 London Games won't have baseball or softball, but the IBAF is hoping to drum up support for the sport to return for the 2016 Summer Games, which could be held in Chicago.See the full content of this document
