Hillsdale College has purchased - without taxpayer money - a space on Capitol Hill to augment its D.C. internship program and provide a place for students to study the U.S.Constitution, school officials say. "We wanted to plant ourselves in the city and not look for federal funds," said Virginia Thomas, the associate vice president of the school's D.C. operations. "We are giving back to the city based on the long history and patriotic duty of the college."
The building, at 227 Massachusetts Ave. NE, will have meeting rooms and office space for discussion and research. However, it will not have residential housing for students.See the full content of this document
