Massachusetts lawmakers yesterday twice passed a proposed constitutional amendment to outlaw same-sex "marriage," bending to a recent court ruling that said they had a duty to vote on the measure.
The measure has to pass another joint legislative session before it can be placed on the November 2008 ballot, but yesterday's votes brought relief to supporters.See the full content of this document
