Summary
Jaguar is expanding its XJ range to six distinctive model derivatives. The lineup will include two Short Wheelbase (SWB) vehicles: the XJ8; and the high-performance XJR. Four Long Wheelbase (LWB) models complete the model list, including: the XJ8 L; Vanden Plas; Super V8; and the new, limited edition flagship Super V8 Portfolio.
All Jaguar XJ models are powered by 4.2 liter V8 engines that mate to 6-speed automatic transmissions. Horsepower ranges from 300 horsepower for the naturally aspirated XJ8 (SWB), XJ8 L (LWB) and Vanden Plas (LWB) to 400 horsepower for the supercharged models which include the XJR (SWB), Super V8 (LWB) and the Super V8 Portfolio (LWB).
