Summary
It is understandable that Robert O. Freedman of Baltimore Hebrew University wishes to remove the albatross of ethnic cleansing from around Israel's neck ("Historical revisionism and Israel's founding," Letters, Friday), but evidence left by Israel's first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, gives the historical truth.
