Summary
Former "American Idol" contestant Mandisa is making her mark on the Christian music industry. Since leaving "Idol" in 2006, she has lost weight, toured constantly, written a book and had several top- charting Christian songs. In a recent interview with Joy Allmond at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (billygraham.org), Mandisa, author of "Idol Eyes: My New Perspective on Faith, Fat & Fame," discusses her music and her relationship with Living Proof Ministries founder Beth Moore, who teaches participants to let go and let God.
