Hoxie, John William (Age 74) of Frederick, MD, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 25, 2009, surrounded by his family, after years of adapting to living with Parkinson's Disease. Born November 30, 1934 New York City, NY, he was the son of the late John A. Hoxie & Marion Rad- cliff Hoxie.
Mr. Hoxie , a graduate of Choate School, CT 1952 & Harvard Uni- versity class of 1956 . he then trav- eled to Florence, Italy to study art where he meet and married his wife of 53 years, also there study- ing from the United States, Diana Depping Hoxie, who survives him. From there they resided in NY be- fore moving to Washington, DC and then to La Plata, MD where they raised their family, in 1986 they returned to Washington, DC.
