Thanks are in order to Rep. Steve King, Iowa Republican, for proposing to do what he was elected to do: uphold the Constitution ("Defund Obamacare with Democrats' own rules," Commentary, Tuesday).

Mr. King has listened to the people and the people have said, "Repeal Obamacare." Though it was unpopular and its contents unknown, the Democrats passed it into law surreptitiously a year ago Christmas Eve, with provisions that trigger automatic funding. The American people were outraged then and we still are now. Many states are now arguing against it in court and a federal district judge has declared it unconstitutional. The new Congress is the only chance we have for its repeal. I hope they do not disappoint us.
