Summary
McLean Baptist Church celebrates 90 years of ministry this year. "We are honoring our past as we prepare for the future," said the Rev. Michael Catlett, the senior pastor who has served the congregation since September 1990.
The church is actively involved in mission projects around the world: a children's camp in Ukraine; educational opportunities for children in Liberia; ministries to the poor, prostitutes and victims of AIDS and leprosy in India; and supporting organizations reaching out to women in Cameroon. Nationally, more than 50 church members will soon travel to Pearlington, Miss., to assist in continuing relief work for those affected by the 2005 Hurricane Katrina; more than 40 members participated in a similar effort last year.See the full content of this document
