Summary
I find it amusing that the Democratic Party can make a case to overlook the citizens in Florida and Michigan who voted in those states' two primaries ("Democrats urged not to risk Florida, Michigan," Nation, Thursday). The decision to move the primary dates was made by Democratic Party officials, not the voters. So why should the voters be punished?
Looking back to the 2000 elections, I remember a huge outcry over Democratic voters who supposedly were disenfranchised in one of the same states at issue now (Florida).
