The tree-sitting protesters at the University of California at Berkeley, now entering their second year atop the campus oak grove, can point to one unique achievement.

They have made virtually everyone on campus sick of protesters. Not bad, considering this is the school that practically invented campus unrest. There was a time when it would have been easier to imagine Ole Miss fans thumbing their noses at football, or Cal Tech geeks turning off their computers.
