A record suicide rate in the Army has prompted local military bases to implement innovative mandatory suicide prevention programs.
The suicide numbers are at the highest since the Army began keeping records in 1980. Last year, 143 soldiers across the nation took their own lives. There were two suicides at Fort Myer, one at Fort Belvoir and one at Fort Lee.See the full content of this document
