Fire and police officials are "highly" recommending that area residents tomorrow attend public fireworks displays staged by licensed professionals, instead of lighting their own displays.
"First and foremost, the public displays have had a thorough fire and life-safety inspection," said W. Faron Taylor of Maryland's Office of the State Fire Marshal. "Number two, the professionals who are igniting the fireworks are licensed by the state. They have been schooled and, more importantly, tested in pyrotechnic displays."See the full content of this document
